This Big Darby Accord revision will impact Big Darby Creek water and aquatic life for generations to come. It will also impact development around us — in Columbus, Hilliard, Brown Township, Norwich Township, and Prairie Township. This has significant implications for transportation, fire and police safety, and our schools.

The Far West Side Area Commission has requested a pause on any adoption of Future Land Use Planning until Phase 2 of the Integrated Prioritization System (IPS) Study is completed as commissioned by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources. It is vital this Accord Amendment lead with science for the health of the Big Darby Creek, an Outstanding State Resource Water.
