Food Access Resources

Several resources available throughout our area:

Columbus Rec & Parks:

Fresh Produce Every Thursday and Friday, stop by our Mobile Produce Markets at select community centers through Nov. 21 to pick up fresh produce at no cost. No registration or paperwork required.

Free Meals for Students School-age children can also receive a free meal every weekday from 3:30–5 p.m. at our Afterschool Program sites. All are welcome. Participating community centers include Adams, Barack, Blackburn, Douglas, Driving Park, Far East, Glenwood, Holton, Howard, Linden, Milo-Grogan, Sullivant Gardens, Feddersen and Woodward Park.

Columbus Public Health

CPH is holding Points of Distribution both this week and next. There will be meals, produce, toiletries and more. The Point of Distribution centers will be open from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the following locations:

Thursday, Nov. 6 – Glenwood Recreation Center, 1888 Fairmont Ave.

Friday, Nov. 7 – Scioto-Southland Recreation Center, 3901 Parsons Ave.

Monday, Nov. 10 – Linden Recreation Center, 1350 Briarwood Ave.

Wednesday, Nov. 12 – Far East Recreation Center, 826 Lattimer Dr.

This is meant for SNAP recipients only, and they will need to bring their EBT card in order to receives items. They can also only receive items one time from the Point of Distribution.
