Staffing Needs – Shelter for Isolation & Quarantine (SIQ)

What is SIQ?
SIQ is a 24 hour/ 7 day a week faculty housing 100 individuals and/or families who are
experiencing homelessness in a hotel setting. Those staying at SIQ are those who have been diagnosed with COVID-19, are under testing for COVID-19 or are symptomatic while under isolation or quarantine.

Staffing Needs:
24/7/7
4 to 6 staff and volunteers each shift
12 hour shifts
Pay rate: $25/hour

Duties include:
● Monitor hallways to insure compliance with isolation/quarantine orders
● Communicate and coordinate with multiple agencies and health care providers
● Provide meal delivery
● Provide comfort and support to those in isolation/quarantine
● Perform administrative tasks related to record keeping
● Respond to emergency situations

PPE will be provided, including but not limited to, N-95 masks, gloves and protective eyewear.
